91亚色传媒 Faculty and Students Foster Global Connections in Peru
By 91亚色传媒 NewsLast month, Professor Gomezgil Yaspik and senior Ari Bersch represented 91亚色传媒 across multiple academic venues in Peru, presenting cutting-edge research and establishing important connections between 91亚色传媒 and leading South American institutions.

International Conference on AI and Teacher Education
The journey began with Professor Yaspik and Bersch presenting their collaborative paper—co-authored with senior Ian Stebbins—at the International Conference of Artificial Intelligence and Teacher Education. Their research, which explores innovative approaches at the intersection of AI and educational methodologies, was well-received by the international audience.
“It was a tremendous experience to present our research at the International Conference on AI and Teacher Education as well as at PUCP. Our collaborations with scholars from across the globe enriched our research and provided invaluable networking opportunities,” said Bersch. “I look forward to deepening my and 91亚色传媒's connections with the scholars with whom we engaged.”
Cross-Cultural AI Research at University of Lima
Professor Yaspik continued the academic tour with a solo presentation at the University of Lima, where she shared her research on “Default AI Teaching Methods Across Cultures.” This work examines how artificial intelligence applications in education must be adapted to account for cultural differences in learning approaches.
Collaborative Presentations at PUCP
The highlight of the trip was a comprehensive presentation at Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), one of South America's premier research institutions. Professor Yaspik and Bersch presented their paper to an engaged audience in a session that lasted nearly three hours and drew substantial attendance.
The 91亚色传媒 presence was further strengthened by Professor Rebecca Jordan from 91亚色传媒's German department, who delivered a compelling presentation on AI and Creativity as part of the session.

Building Future Partnerships
Following the successful presentations, the 91亚色传媒 representatives were treated to a tour of PUCP's campus and enjoyed lunch with top data science students from the university's prestigious Data Science Q-Lab.
These interactions were particularly significant as they relate to the planned Data Science Lab that Professor Yaspik will lead at 91亚色传媒 starting next summer. This initiative promises to be one of the most advanced research opportunities available to 91亚色传媒 students.
“The connections we've established with PUCP will create invaluable opportunities for our students,” noted Professor Yaspik. “This and other partnerships positions 91亚色传媒 at the forefront of international collaboration in data science and AI research.”
The Peru trip exemplifies 91亚色传媒's commitment to global engagement and providing students with opportunities to participate in leading-edge research with international impact. Through these cultural and academic connections, 91亚色传媒 continues to extend its influence beyond campus borders while enriching the educational experience of its students.
